Another driver passes stopped school bus: Bay Village Police Blotter

On September 12 at 3:28 p.m., officers received a report of a Jeep stopped on the side of the road with the driver slumped over the steering wheel. Officers located the Jeep and checked the driver’s well-being. The driver was fine and advised that his Jeep was disabled. A tow was requested.

On September 12 at 8:09 p.m., a resident reported that her unlocked car had been entered overnight. A small amount of money was taken. Officers are investigating.

Road rage

On September 13 at 3:10 p.m., two drivers pulled over in the Bay Village Police Department parking lot to report a road rage incident with each other. Officers spoke to both parties involved and briefed them on their driving habits.

Violation, lake road

At 8:54 a.m. on September 14, a school bus driver in Bay Village City reported that someone had passed his stopped school bus. The incident happened on the afternoon of September 9. The driver was stopped unloading students near Lake Forest Drive with her stop sign deployed and lights flashing when a car passed her. After reviewing the video footage and a brief investigation, the driver was identified. The 51-year-old Brunswick resident was cited.
