WARREN – Thomas J. “To M” Trimbur, 80, of Warren, died suddenly on Wednesday September 28, 2022 at his home.
Tom was born on August 29, 1942 in Warren, son of Joseph and Lena Trimbur.
Tom earned a Bachelor of Education from The Ohio State University and a Masters of Education from Kent State University.
He had retired as a teacher in the Warren City School District, at Turner Jr. High, Warren Western Reserve High School, and Warren G. Harding High School, after 34 years. Tom coached the Warren Western Reserve Men’s Basketball, Warren G. Harding Men’s Basketball and Warren G. Harding Women’s Volleyball teams during his time in the District. Tom also worked for 10 years at the Peter Rossi & Son Memorial Chapel after his retirement.
Tom was a member of Blessed Sacrament Parish in Warren. He loved his family and friends, took daily walks with his dogs, and was an avid Ohio State Buckeyes fan.
Tom will be missed by his wife, Sue A. Trimbur; his son, Joseph (Brianna) Trimbur of Lordstown; daughter, Megan (Patrick) Gallagher of Dryden, NY; granddaughter, Clare Gallagher; and his brother, the Reverend John S. Trimbur of Poland.
His parents predeceased him.
Family and friends can pay their respects to Tom from 2-5 p.m. on Sunday, October 2, 2022 at the Peter Rossi & Son Memorial Chapel, 1884 North Road NE, Warren.
A Christian burial mass will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, October 3, 2022 at the Church of the Blessed Sacrament, with the Reverend Fr. Christophe Cicéron presiding.
Interment will be at All Souls Cemetery, Bazetta.
